FACULTY-LED ARCHITECTURAL TOUR AND URBAN DESIGN WORKSHOP – 2017 : USA
11 students participated in an intensive program ‘Faculty-led Architecture Appreciation and Urban Design’ conducted in Collaboration with The Department of Geography, Planning, and Sustainability at Rowan University, New Jersey, USA.
Students worked on a Brownfield area in North Philadelphia. This included neighborhood study walks, intensive workshops with Prof. Meenar M at Rowan University, and meetings at: New Kensington Community Development Corporation (NKCDC), Philadelphia City Planning Commission (PCPC), Montgomery County Planning Commission (MCPC), Wallace, Roberts and Todd, LLC. (WRT) and the Atrium Design Group.
The students also visited Washington DC, New York City and iconic tourist attractions like Niagara Falls and Falling Water.
